The Fifth Sunday after Trinity

This Sunday’s Homily reminded us that catching fish is less about technique and more about following the guide. Just as Peter obeyed Jesus and let down his nets, even when he doubted, so we too are called to trust Christ and keep casting the net of the Gospel. Our role is not to fill the nets—that is God’s work—but to be faithful in casting them. At Holy Communion, we are blessed with glorious worship, but we must also remain missional, always building the net and reaching others with the Good News.
