Our Mission
Here at Church of the Holy Communion Cathedral, our mission is Making Disciples for Christ in the Anglican Way which reflects the Anglican Tradition of discipleship. This includes biblical teaching and preaching, worship using the historic Book of Common Prayer (1928), a sacramental understanding of spiritual transformation through Word and Sacrament, and an Acts 1 commitment to discipling the nations both here and abroad.
The first step towards discipleship is to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior which follows with a public confession of our faith in the Savior through Baptism. Once a person becomes a Christian, they enter into a lifelong pursuit of growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. One significant aspect of discipleship is to learn and embrace the teachings of Christ. To this end, we offer Christian Education for all ages and levels of faith. If you would like to learn more, take the next step by completing this form to connect with CHC.
